How I Became a Director
When you have a client that aspires to do great TV work, but doesn’t have huge budgets, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to encourage them to spend 10% of their entire budget on a director. Especially when you’ve been champing at the bit to do it yourself. For Neighborly, a franchise that operates over 25 home service brands like Mr. Rooter Plumbing, Aire Serv and Molly Maids, that's exactly what I did, working on the following campaigns from initial strategy and conception to directing and finishing.
First, Mr. Rooter Plumbing came to us with a desire to tell people just how expert their experts really are. So, we launched the first in a series of films to give customers a peek into some of that rigorous, hairy training.
Next, Glass Doctor wanted to tell the world just how superior their shower enclosures compared to a whole array of bathroom fixtures. And from that comes the tale of a spurned sink who hasn’t exactly warmed up to its new neighbor.
